명사절

절 전체가 주어·목적어·보어 역할을 할 수 있습니다. that절, whether·if 간접의문, 의문사절을 한 덩어리로 묶어 바깥 문장에서 차지하는 자리를 확인합니다. 종속절의 내용만 떼어 사실로 확정하지 않고 주절의 부정·판단이 미치는 범위를 함께 읽습니다. 선행사 없는 what절, 복합관계 표현, 생략된 that, 중첩 내용절에서는 절 내부의 빈자리와 바깥 절의 역할을 함께 확인합니다.

• In language it is simply required that it convey the meaning.

  언어에서는 뜻을 전달하기만 하면 된다.

• For whatever of these things results, it is in my power to derive benefit from it.

  이 가운데 어떤 일이 생기든, 그 일에서 유익을 얻는 것은 내가 할 수 있는 일이다.

  모든 것이 판단에 달려 있으며 그 판단은 네가 다룰 수 있는 것임을 생각하라.
